For recipients
Jakeluyhtiö Suomi delivers letters, magazines and other distribution products to recipients in a large part of Finland.
We operate in a network model, and our final delivery to consumers and businesses is carried out by our regional distribution company. You can identify the products we distribute by the regional distribution company's code, which appears in the address field. The distribution company code is 3-5 characters long and there may also be other routing information for the shipment in the same spot. Below on this page is a list of our distribution companies, their codes, and main distribution areas.
What should I do if I receive a letter or magazine intended for someone else?
To protect postal privacy, such a letter must not be opened. We will provide you with a return envelope that allows you to send the misdelivered letter back to us free of charge. You can obtain the return envelope by submitting a contact request through this form. Before contacting us, please verify from the table at the bottom of this page that the letter or magazine was distributed by our network.
What should I do if a letter or magazine delivered to my address arrives damaged?
Complaints regarding letters or magazines distributed by us can be made via the contact form available on this website.
What should I do if I suspect I haven't received a shipment intended for delivery by Jakeluyhtiö Suomi?
In this case, the best starting point for investigation is the sender. The sender's customer service can determine through their channels whether the shipment was handed over to Jakeluyhtiö Suomi for delivery. If it turns out that the product was given to us for distribution, we can also obtain the shipment's unique identifier through the sender, which helps us better investigate what happened.
How do I proceed when I have moved or am moving?
You can ensure delivery to the correct address by making sure the sender of the letter or magazine has your correct address information. We distribute letters and magazines based on the addresses printed by the senders, so please ensure that companies regularly sending you mail (such as invoice senders) have your correct address. Some senders receive updated information automatically from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency or Posti.
How do I proceed if I want to make a temporary address change or delivery interruption?
You can request a temporary address change or delivery interruption via the contact form available on this website. Kindly provide the name(s) and address(es) affected by the desired action, as well as the desired duration for the address change/delivery interruption. Jakeluyhtiö Suomi also receives delivery interruptions and temporary address changes reported to Posti on a daily basis. If you have made these change notifications to Posti, a separate notification to Jakeluyhtiö Suomi is not necessary.
